My name is Laurie Phelps and I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and
mentor. Art is my passion. I use all mediums and canvas types, but my favorite is
the human body. Art has encompassed my soul in every way and I enjoy the
intrinsic rewards I derive from making someone smile with something bright,
colorful and full of life.
I have had the pleasure to learn from so many masters in this industry.
My favorite teachers and mentors have been:
Pashur the Body Painter, Mark Reid, Rebecca T., Brian and Nick Wolfe, April
Powell and Kurt Drake, Loretta Kava, Lynne Jamieson, Jinny the Makeup Artiste,
Nick Herrera, Alex Hansen, Marcela Murad, Gary & Raphelle Fieldhouse, Wiser,
Shonna Flanigan, and so many others. Their expertise and kind, patient
approach to teaching is what has inspired my love of this art.
I am lucky to be assisted by 3 of the best up and coming painters in our industry.
